Throughout his life, Brad Pyatt has had countless opportunities to develop and hone his skills. With these skills, he was able to excel in whatever he was doing, whether it was sports or managing a business.
Brad Pyatt’s Leadership Skills
One of the first skills, and arguably the most important skill that Brad developed, is leadership. In fact, he’d often attribute this as the number one skill that made him successful today. As a natural-born leader, Brad is able to calmly analyze a situation, come up with a strategic plan, and lead his teammates to victory. He has been a terrific leader ever since he was in elementary school, when he was first assigned to a group project. He’d notice that his group members were not the most enthusiastic bunch and other teams were immediately cooperating. Because of this, he identified the one thing other teams had that his own team lacked, a leader. Since then, Brad Pyatt would always strive to be a leader if given the opportunity. He has done so throughout his academic years as well as all throughout his adulthood.
According to Brad, being a leader is actually not always about leading, sometimes it’s about listening. Listening to the advise and recommendations give by your fellow teammates can make or break a leader. Sometimes, it takes a leader to do the impossible, in order to lead the team to victory.
After his one shot to fame, Brad Pyatt became a common household name, especially in Denver Colorado. His career in NFL was rewarding and he met many professional, competitive, and sportsmanlike people. After his professional football career ended however, he did not want to just leave football behind altogether. He wanted the sport to remain every part of his life as much as possible. Therefore, he decided to become a coach for his alma mater high school, Arvada West High School.
Located in Arvada, Colorado, the school provided Brad Pyatt with fond memories and a plethora of leaning experiences. He remembers all the opportunities he was given when he attended the high school and he wanted to try and give back to the community as much as possible. Therefore, he draw from his experience as a former professional football player and tried to pass on his knowledge to younger and more eager athletes. Till this day, Brad Pyatt credits Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy with teaching him about leadership, preparation, and sportsmanship. Brad’s ultimate goal is to teach other young athletes the importance of these skills.
When Brad officially parted ways with NFL, he wanted to try something different. He wanted to begin a different chapter in his life and he wanted it to be something grand, big, and something he’d never done before. Soon, he came up with the idea of starting his own nutritional supplement company. In 2008, he officially founded his own supplements company and served as the company’s CEO from 2008 all the way to 2016. There, he led the team to financial success by providing top quality nutritional supplements.
Within a short amount of time, the company’s revenue grew from $1 million in 2009 to a robust $50 million by 2015. An impressive feat, considering the short amount of time it took for Brad’s company to achieve success. However, it’s success did not stop there. By 2015, the company exceeded $170 million in revenue, making Brad’s dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur a reality.
However, all this success did not come by chance. Even before he formed his own company, Brad Pyatt did a lot of research on the nutritional supplement industry. As a healthy and athletic person, he knew the ins and outs of the industry. He wanted to come up with a product that can take the industry by storm. In addition, his hard work as well as determination allowed him to over one obstacle after another and become successful as a businessman.
